Ultralox Content Submission Contest

1. Eligibility

No purchase necessary to enter or win. The Contest is open only to legal residents of the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who, at the time of entry, have reached the age of majority as defined by the laws of their state of residence (generally 18, but 19 in Alabama and Nebraska, and 21 in Mississippi). Contest is void in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions, and where prohibited by law. Employees of Ultralox Railing Systems, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, dealers, distributors, and their immediate family members or those living in the same household are not eligible. Proof of residency and age may be required. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Throughout these Official Rules, “entrant” refers to the individual submitting the entry in accordance with Section 3.

2. Contest Period

The Contest begins at 12:00 AM Central Time on April 1, 2025, and ends at 11:59 PM Central Time on December 31, 2025. Monthly winners will be selected in each category. All monthly winners will be eligible for a Grand Prize selection to be made in early 2026.

3. How to Enter

To enter, visit https://ultralox.com/content-contest/ and complete the entry form, including uploading your original photo or video submission. All entries must:

• Feature Ultralox railing products in real-world projects.
• Meet format and resolution requirements.
• Be labeled with entrant’s full name (e.g., First_Last-FileName.ext.
• Be submitted by 11:59 PM Central Time on the last day of the month to qualify for that month’s contest.
• Limit of ten (10) entries per person per category per calendar month. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Entries must be made by the individual entrant and not by a group or organization.

Accepted Formats:

• Photos: JPG or PNG, minimum resolution of 10 megapixels.
• Videos: MP4 or MOV, 720p or higher.

Entries must not Entries must not violate any third-party copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other proprietary rights. Ultralox reserves the right to disqualify any entry it deems, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate, infringing, or inconsistent with the Contest’s intended image or objectives. 

Ultralox is not responsible for technical failures of the submission platform or incompatibility with certain devices, browsers, or file formats. 

4. Photo & Video Requirements

• Submissions must prominently and positively feature Ultralox products. 
• No watermarks, competitor logos, or identifying marks allowed. 
• Content must not contain inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful material. 
• Entrants must own all rights to submitted content and warrant that submissions do not infringe on any third-party rights. 
• If individuals appear in the content, entrants must have obtained permission or a signed release; by submitting, entrants affirm that such permission has been obtained. 

5. License & Rights

By submitting an entry, each entrant irrevocably grants Ultralox Railing Systems and its designees, licensees, successors, and assigns a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, modify, publish, distribute, publicly perform, and display the submission (in whole or in part), including the entrant’s name, likeness, and biographical information, in connection with the Contest and Ultralox’s promotional and marketing activities, in any and all media, now known or hereafter developed, without further compensation, notice, or approval, unless prohibited by law. Entries may be used or sublicensed by Ultralox’s affiliates, dealers, and authorized partners for promotional or commercial purposes consistent with Ultralox’s marketing objectives. Ultralox is not responsible for any unauthorized use of entries by third parties. Ultralox will not be required to treat any entry as confidential. Ultralox has no obligation to publish, use, or retain any submission and may remove any content at its sole discretion.

6. Judging and Scoring

Submissions will be judged by a panel of Ultralox representatives. Each entry will be scored on a 1–5 scale in the following categories: 

• Creativity (1–5): Originality and creative presentation. 
• Visual Quality (1–5): Image/video clarity, lighting, resolution, and framing.
• Product Visibility (1–5): Clear and prominent use of Ultralox products. 

Total score possible: 15 points. In the event of a tie, Product Visibility score will serve as the tiebreaker. All judging decisions are final and not subject to appeal. Scoring is subjective and may reflect the opinions and preferences of the judging panel. Sponsor’s decisions regarding the administration of the Contest and selection of winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. 

7. Prizes

Monthly Winners: One winner per category (Product Photo, Product Video, Installation Video) each month will receive a $500 gift card.

Grand Prizes: Each category will have one Grand Prize winner selected from monthly winners. Grand Prize amounts: 

• Product Photo: $5,000 (check) 
• Product Video: $10,000 (check) 
• Installation Video: $10,000 (check) 

Monthly winners may win more than once, but prizes over $600 total will require the submission of a W-9 form. Winners whose total prize value exceeds $600 will be required to provide a completed IRS Form W-9, and Ultralox will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC in accordance with federal tax law. All taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. 

8. Winner Notification

Winners will be notified using the email provided at entry. Failure to respond within 7 days of notification may result in forfeiture. An alternate winner may be selected. Grand Prize winners must submit a completed W-9 form before receiving payment. Potential winners may also be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (where legal). If such documents are not timely returned, or if a winner is ineligible or otherwise not in compliance, the prize may be forfeited.

9. Odds of Winning

Odds of winning depend on the number and quality of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

10. Privacy & Data Collection

Entrants consent to the collection and use of their personal data by Ultralox for contest administration and marketing purposes, consistent with Ultralox’s Privacy Policy found at https://ultralox.com/privacy-policy. Ultralox will comply with all applicable data protection laws.

11. General Conditions

Ultralox reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, or who acts in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Ultralox further reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest. Ultralox reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant at any time. Automated entries or those that violate the spirit of the contest will be disqualified. Any misrepresentation of eligibility, authorship, or rights to the submitted content may result in disqualification and forfeiture of prizes, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. In the event the Contest is disrupted or rendered impracticable due to events beyond Ultralox’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, epidemic, labor strikes, civil disorder, or governmental orders, Ultralox reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Contest without liability.

12. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Ultralox Railing Systems, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, causes of action, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use/misuse of any prize, including but not limited to personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property.

13. Publicity Release

By accepting a prize, winners grant Ultralox the right to use their name, likeness, biographical information, and city/state of residence for promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

14. Governing Law

This Contest and these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any legal actions, suits, or proceedings related to this Contest shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Dakota County, Minnesota, and each entrant irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of such courts.

This Contest is not affiliated with or endorsed by Facebook, Instagram, or any other third-party platform. Participation constitutes a complete release of such platforms by each entrant. 

16. Severability

If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

17. Winner List Request

For the names of the Grand Prize winners (available after January 31, 2026), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:

18. Entire Agreement

These Official Rules constitute the full and complete agreement between the Sponsor and the entrant with respect to the Contest and supersede all prior communications, representations, or understandings, whether written or oral.
